Finding Cheap Five Star Hotels

Written on March 31, 2008 – 5:13 pm | by TomTessin |

If you plan on traveling soon or you just want some information for future reference, I’m going to show you a few tips on how you can book a five star hotel for a one star price. Now, I know you’re going to read that last statement and think, “wow, this sounds too good to be true”. I can assure you once you read this special report, you’ll look back and you’ll think differently.

Do your research online

I’m sure if you’re reading this article, you’re already on the internet. The internet is probably the most powerful tool on this planet. Just think, you have the world at your fingertips and you have all the information in the world. So let’s use this information and put it to good use.

The first thing you’re going to want to do is go to a website like Orbitz and Travelocity and search for a five-star hotel. When you find the hotels you want in your area, make sure you take note of it so you can go back to them for future reference. If you haven’t already know this but Priceline.com has a great bidding system where you can actually bid on the hotel to see if your offer will be accepted. That type of technique is always worth trying. The worst thing they can do is say no!

Go direct – look for the deals

Every hotel and city probably has its offseason. Who wants to go to Chicago in the dead of winter on a Wednesday? If you can find when hotels are having offseason specials, make sure you browse their pricing structure to see what kind of deals they are offering. Remember that these deals are never set in stone; you can always either call up or negotiate your price over the phone. Once again, it never hurts to try. As I mentioned above, what’s the worst thing that can happen?

Check EBay or cheat

EBay is a great tool to find coupons. Simply hop on EBay and check to see if there are coupons for the hotel you’re staying at. Let’s say for example, you want to stay at the Hilton in Chicago. One EBay, you’d simply type in “Hilton coupons” and from there, you could see what pops up. You’ll be surprised on what people list. Sometimes, people may have bad experiences with the other and the hotel will give those vouchers. Instead of using them, people figure they will sell them instead of going back for another bad experience.

Now, you’re probably reading the little title above and you’re thinking cheat? Well, what I mean by this is to check around with family and friends to see if someone you know works for a particular hotel chain.

Sometimes, they will be able to give you a great discount on the hotel room. If you can find someone like this, take advantage of it!

These are just a few steps you can take in order to save a ton of money on your next five star hotels. Now all of these techniques might not work but it never hurts to try. Be aggressive and do your research and you’ll save money in no time!
