Although it is not always recommended to use this type of halogen track lighting in a home. Some people have found that if they have a very high ceiling in their kitchen that track lighting is a good choice for them. If the homeowner chooses a flexible track then there are advantages to using this particular style of lighting. Mostly, though it is used in a retail like setting. If planning to install a lighting system like this, it is important to measure the length of track that you will need, add a little extra just in case. You will also need to determine where along the track that you will need power. The tracking system can always be added to after time. You will also need the proper connectors for your system as well, you will require either a T-connector, L-connector or flexible connector.
