Weddings are such a fun time in life. Choosing the colors, the food, the flowers, the cake, the centerpieces, the venue, the setting and mood, the music, your dress, and the decorations is such a thrill and is really a once in a lifetime opportunity. Planning for such a big event can be taxing, however, it is exciting as well. As you are planning a party for so many people there are many things to keep in mind.

What is the season where my wedding will be held? Answering just this one little questions will help you in so many ways as in what colors to use in the wedding, what food is appropriate, etc. For instance, a summer wedding in Arizona would call for lighter colors. Light sage green, with some silvers, gold’s, and accented with dark purples. The food would typically call for lighter food. If doing appetizers fresh fruits, meat rolls, vegetables, and crepes, are most commonly used. If doing a full dinner then salads and fresh fish.

However if doing a winter wedding in a cooler area, such as Utah or New York the colors would call for rich deep colors; blacks, dark purples, deep reds accenting with silvers & gold’s.
